Shabby 3x3 notes Part Duex

I posted a little swap from 2 Shabby Sisters a bit ago, here is the other set of cards I made to go along with it.  Remember, the presentation for these had to be a little special... so I went to my stash of cute bags and dressed one up to hold this set of 3x3 cards.  I am still using up the last of that amazing Prima Primrose paper, added a great metal filigree from Butterbee Scraps on Zibbet (my new favorite obsession), and  a great paper flower that came to me in a swap from the super generous Amelia.  I layered that all on to a couple of top notes and edged everything with Black Soot
I just love how these note cards turned out.  I stamped one of those sweet $1 stamps from Michaels on a softly patterned paper, edged with black soot and layered on a bit more shabby pink.  That black trim is a pleated trim from May Arts Ribbon which I just love.  Finished off with a simple flower to draw your eye right to the stamped image.

Six of these tucked in a little bag on their way to my swap partner - hope she enjoys!!

Parsian Pretty

I just love to make a little treat even more special for a friend. For this one I coordinated a card and a gift bag to show someone special she is worth it!! I found the Carte Bella line last year and have just loved using this Paris Girl collection for friends.

Carta Bella Paris Girl Mini Album

Yeah!!
It is finally finished...sort of. I am really pleased with how it turned out. I wasn't able to do a few things I wanted like add the TP mini pages from last year. But I did deconstruct a few of them and use my favorite bits. Lots of pockets and tags and places to keep mementos and photos from times with friends. I used the Damask Decor and Summertime in Paris Cricut Cartridges quite a bit. Please check out the video on YouTube here Photobucket

Parisian Store Front Mini

After several weeks away from craft room, I was so happy to come home to a project all ready to go.  I hosted a swap at Life on the Scrap Beach.  We were to make mini album pages from TP roles inspired by Paris store fronts.  The color scheme, to keep it all cohesive was pink, black and cream.
Each package was a real treat to see.  I just loved what each person did with the idea.  From literal windows, to color themes, to more artistic interpritations.  (I have to confess I did a bad job of editing the video and DeAnna actually made two pages and somehow I cut one out.  So sorry about that!!)
Each participant will have 5 different pages mailed back to her to bind into a mini of her own.
