This was a K & Company single sheet I found at Michael's for 59 cents. It had all these little postage stamp like images that were perfect for OWH valentine cards. I am working hard on more detail fewer 'kit' kind of cards. here I have used some dry and heat embossing, glossy accents to make the bee glitter safe, some really lush ribbon and a bit of paper piercing.
Katie - you had purple ribbon with chicks to match that image? Why, no, I did not. I had white ribbon with chicks that I inked!! I am LOVING - no LOOOOOOOOOOOVING this idea of buying white and making it match your project
And - if you don't already know this, you probably do, but I think I am brilliant and need to share... My music strip - came from my mom. She gave me a sheet that is old and distressed and uber cool. I hated to use it - cause then it was gone. UNLESS... you just make a copy - for the vintage look make it on cream card stock. Now I can use it over and over again.
Very cool stuff! Love the idea of copying the sheet music. I would've cut it up before I remembered... Genius!
